A great lineup

The response to the event has been awesome, with Public Sector spaces selling out in 24 hours and some fantastic communities interested in coming along. In all, we’re bringing over 120 people together to think about new partnerships between online communities, government and brands.

In the online community field, confirmed so far are attendees from:

  • Netmums
  • Mumsnet
  • Business Zone
  • The Student Room
  • Army Rumour Service
  • Prospects
  • CareSpace
  • NetworkedNeighbourhoods
  • NHS Choices blogs
  • GovLoop
  • Socitm professional communities
  • StudentMidwife.net
  • Urban75
  • PatientOpinion
    …and more

The communities will be meeting agencies from across the PR, digital, communications planning and social media spectrum including our awesome sponsors We Are Social and Diffusion PR, as well as Nixon McInnes, Kindred, Porter Novelli, Blue Rubicon, 23red, 3ThirtyThree, Naked, M4C, Mindshare, Iris, Manning Gottlieb, Reading Room, Neontribe, Brightone, Promise, Wolfstar and Qube.

We’re expecting over 20 different government agencies to be represented, from the Home Office to HMRC, Directgov to Department for Work and Pensions, and Department for Education to UK Parliament.

It should be an awesome day – stay tuned here where we’ll be putting up some of the case study materials and hopefully live blogging some of the event, as well as planning the next steps.

One Response to A great lineup

All that has to happen is to keep it simple, and listen. The grassroots have been ignored for too long, and a wealth of knowledge is out there waiting to be tapped.
You have to be ready for when we can all get online, and once the final third come on board this nation can really rock. (final third still stuck on dial up so you still have a bit of time to spare until we get fibre for them)
Hope you have a great day.
